1. Happy New Year Everyone! Welcome back to school. Today we are making a New Year's Resolution. Please make a list in Word of 10 things you are going to try and do either better or for the first time. Explain in one paragraph how you are going to try to be a better person in 2012 then in 2011.


2. You are going to create a Personal Business Letter to someone famous. Write them a detailed letter asking them something, or compliementing them on something they did. Use the school address for the return address, research on the computer to find their contact information. Proofread the letter carefully then print. See Mrs. Wilk for handout

Email Activity: Create an email using gmail if you don't already have one. Then complete exercise 23A and email this message to me at mwilk@mhrd.k12.nj.us
Then create the two emails into memos on page 59 and print. They will be graded.
